and type Terminal and press enter/return key. - Run in Terminal app:

Use Turbo Boost Switcher to Enable or Disable Turbo Boost
Turbo Boost Switcher is an application that allows you to easily enable or disable Turbo Boost. In order to download the Turbo Boost Switcher application, and enable and disable Turbo Boost, at your own will, follow the instructions below.
1. Download and install the Turbo Boost Switcher application on your Mac.
2. Double-click on the download archive in order to extract the application file, and then double-click on that application file.
3. On the prompt that appears, click on Open.
4. When you click on the application file, it will automatically appear in the top menu bar. You can manage the Turbo Boost feature from here. Click on the application icon in the menu bar.
5. From the drop-down menu that appears, click on Enable Turbo Boost.
If Turbo Boost is already on, then you’ll see a Disable Turbo Boost option instead. Click on the Disable Turbo Boost option in order to disable Turbo Boost. That’s all it takes.
